happy weekend & a giveaway

Did you get your extra hour of sleep?  I kinda did, but Ben didn't get the memo, and was up at his normal 7am but today that was 6am.  Not quite what I was hoping for this morning!  :)  But that's okay, we're enjoying a nice weekend as a family of three again. 

Jake was traveling ALL week for work, so we are really glad to have him home.  He and Ben spent most of the day together yesterday so I could have a little break - and sew.  :)  And then after Ben was asleep last night we had date night (at home) - PF Chang's (frozen), egg rolls, rice, wine and Netflix.  It was a wonderful day.  Today we are spending time together and working a on few things around the house.  Maybe a trip to the park, some sewing and some laundry.  I just finished starting dinner in the Crockpot - roast, carrots, and potatoes.  Perfect Sunday dinner - YUM!

the long weekend

It was so nice to have such a long weekend!  

We enjoyed a visit from Grandma and Grandpa, played at the park, slept in, took naps, watched a movie, picked-up the house, ran some errands, watched a football game, ate yummy food, and relaxed.  

We really enjoyed just being together at home - it was great!
